The purpose of the AFCA Convention is to provide members of the American Football Coaches Association a venue for education, fellowship, and discussion on business matters pertinent to the game of football. The 2017 AFCA Convention will take place January 8-11, 2017, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. The AFCA Convention is the primary educational experience provided by the American Football Coaches Association. Every January, thousands of coaches from high school through the professional ranks gather to discuss all facets of the game of football. Topics such as Personal & Professional Development, On the Field Operations, Program Management, Personnel Organization, Administrative Logistics, Ethics/Character Development and Injury Prevention are covered during the four day event.
